Recently we were contacted by the Eden House in Key West about Poker Run players with Peterson's Poker Run. They have limited space available but the accommodations are top shelf and "Bikers Welcome". Please keep them on the top of your list.


   Never gamble on sleeping arrangements. Years ago when Haley's Comet was visiting earth, we all went to the Florida Keys to get away from the lights of Miami for a better view of the comet. We ended up getting a room in a floating house boat for the night. Thinking it would be a different experience for the family. We were awakened by water dripping on the bed because the cloud cover that had ruined our view of the comet had later turned to rain. Not what we ever expected in the Keys, but it was a gamble not knowing. Our last stay in the Keys was in Key West at the Courtyards ( Marriot) no gamble there it was first class all the way and they even got us booked on a busy Memorial Day weekend.

  Bed and Breakfast I have never tried, but Key West would the place to test it out. Beautiful old houses right in the Old Town area. Friends have told us about Duval Gardens and loved it.

  Always ask first about parking especially if you have a trailer. Southernmost Resorts has a lot of experience with the Poker Run event and they have multiple locations. Check them out early for reservations.
